Mr. Jones received his Bachelor of Science in Landscape Design in 1975 from the California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo and an Associate of Arts Degree in Architecture from Orange Coast College in 1972.  Mr. Jones has been a California State General Contractor – Class B designation since 1976, License # 317657.

Mr. Jones has been involved in all aspects of residential building during his 40-year real estate development career.

In 2013 Mr. Jones joined The Garrett Group as V.P. Land Division to entitlement and development the Garrett land portfolio. Mr. Jones has entitled over 30,000 units and built and sold over 3,000 entry-level to third tier move up homes throughout Riverside and San Diego County, Florida and Kobe, Japan.
